Take climate action to lead us to a just and sustainable society

2050 Climate Group’s Leaders Network is a supportive, collaborative community facilitating opportunities for our Young Leaders to connect and celebrate with each other as we work towards a just and sustainable society.

Our 2050x Fund supports youth-led climate action projects based in Scotland. Successful applicants receive a financial contribution, as well as support from the 2050 Climate Group.

Join our team as an operational volunteer, board trustee or a member of staff!

All of 2050 Climate Group’s activities are planned and delivered by our volunteers. Roles are varied, and we provide training and expenses to support individuals from around Scotland to participate. We typically recruit for volunteers on an annual basis through an application process. Express your interest to be notified next time we’re recruiting.

We occasionally advertise jobs and paid placements

We host regular full-day events, evening socials, topic-specific workshops and one-off specialist sessions.

As a charity, 2050 Climate Group relies on donations and other fundraising to operate.

Our Young Leaders Development Programme (YLDP) is a unique opportunity for young people (aged 18-35) in Scotland to receive high quality training on climate change and leadership. Over the course of a number of full-day modules, each cohort of 130 Young Leaders learns the knowledge and leadership skills they need to take climate action. Graduates of the YLDP automatically join our Leaders Network to continue their development and action.
